A digital children’s book rewritten by Nicole Leung and illustrated by Anna Jiang.

A Tail of Consequences follows Cat and Rat, two of the thirteen animals invited by the Jade Emperor to be a part of the Chinese Zodiac.

As we all know, Cat is left out of the Zodiac. Legend has it that Cat was tricked by Rat, resulting in him missing the Zodiac banquet.

Leung retells the tale by incorporating warnings of what happens when Cat litters and disregards the environment, teaching kids that there are always consequences to their actions.
